The production team shot the entire miniseries in Galicia, focusing on the province of A Coruña to capture the authentic, ‘emptied’ Spain (la España vaciada) feel.

While Antón’s home is the fictional Galician village of Topomorto, its charm is a composite of several real and picturesque spots:
