In 2024, a new viewpoint was opened near Mount A Cariza. It’s definitely worth a visit. From here, you have a stunning view of the River Miño. The viewpoint features a suspended wooden platform and an information board. Are you looking for that one perfect shot of the Miño? Miradoiro da Cariza offers a spectacular panoramic view of the river between Ponte Mourulle and the banks of Chantada. When the water level is low, you can even see the mysterious ruins of Castro Candaz emerging from the water from here.
